2000 B.S. in Sociology and having Dr. Sandra Grant for Spanish.

Donna Thomas, Class of 2000

2012 BA in Psychology, Minor in Theatre; 2018 Masters in Social Work with a concentration in School Social Work.

My favorite memory…Wow that’s hard. I loved my theatre classes and all my psych professors in undergrad. My masters program was an amazing experience. All of the friends I made throughout a rigorous process made it all worth it. Having amazing internships and supervisors made me love what I was doing even more. #owlforlife

Shana Marques, Class of 2012, MSW 2018

One of my fondest memories as a nursing student at SCSU was celebrating our success with faculty and family at the end of program Pinning Ceremony. Now serving as Department Chairperson in Nursing, I strive to create that same powerful memory for students at SCSU at our Annual Pinning Ceremony. It is a true privilege to have this opportunity.

Lisa Rebeschi, Class of 1984, Chair of the Department of Nursing

I met my wife in Anthropology class and now we have four kids together with one looking at SCSU next year.

Adam Gerstein, Class of 2004, Staff

My favorite memories are from Mathematics Department picnics.  Each May, students and faculty come together to celebrate the close of another academic year.  Locations have varied from East Rock Park, Sleeping Giant, and Brooksvale Park to the picnic area at a New Haven Ravens game.

Terri Bennett, Faculty

Favorite memory was the ProCon events & Hall Olympics!

Jamila Young, Class of 2014

Every single day was the best! Love SCSU

Katharine Coppola, Class of 2002

1st Cohort under Dr. Rakfeldt. I’m so proud to have been a part of SCSU & this particular graduate program. Many fond memories of weekend classes on campus.

Tara Jaynes, Class of 2011

Hanging out in the student center, spring concerts on the quad, late nights at Conn, the supportive community, and of course Omega Zeta Pi!

Justine Konecky, Class of 2014

Watching my daughter swim during her first year as an Owl!

Karen Blakeslee, Class of 1985
