Stutzman Family Foundation Music Scholarship

Students applying for the Bachelor's degree in Music at Southern will be considered for a Stutzman Family Foundation Scholarship on the basis of their musical audition and review of their application materials. Award amounts vary and are awarded each semester (up to an aggregate total of eight semesters) provided the recipient continues to meet the scholarship criterion.

Eligibility Criterion

  • Declared Music Major
  • Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA
  • Enrolled in a department-based music ensemble every semester
  • Enrolled in a department-based applied lesson (primary instrument) every semester

Application Process

Students who wish to be considered for a Stutzman Family Foundation music scholarship must:

  • Complete an online application
  • Complete an on-campus audition and/or interview
  • Successfully apply and gain acceptance into Southern Connecticut State University (New/Transfer students)

Scholarship applications must be submitted by April 5, 2019. Upon receipt of your application, you will be scheduled for an audition and notified via email.

All scholarship applicants will be notified of their scholarship status by Friday, May 10, 2019.
