Dr. Twine (Muscogee &#8211; Creek Nation) is Professor of Sociology at the University of California, Santa Barbara. She is an ethnographer, documentary filmmaker, a feminist race theorist and a visual artist whose research on race, class, and gender inequalities is intersectional, international and innovative. Twine is the author and editor of eleven books.
