As we kick off a new academic year, we are excited to welcome you with a variety of programs and activities! Week of Welcome events are open to all Southern students.

WoW Prizes

Attend Week of Welcome events to earn prizes and be eligible to win a $250.00 Barnes and Noble Gift Card!

Prize Levels

Attend 5 Programs

Earn a free coffee or hot chocolate from Dunkin’ Donuts.

Attend 8 Programs

Earn a choice of SCSU gear plus the prize from A.

For every feedback form you submit, you will receive one entry into the drawing for a $250.00 Barnes and Noble gift card.

Record Your Attendance

Attendance for WoW events will be tracked through OwlConnect.

  1. Attend WoW program.
  2. Fill out the WoW Event Feedback Form after the event.

Claim Prizes

All students who meet the prize level requirements will receive an email from the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership Development following the Week of Welcome to come and claim their prizes. Prize pick-up will be available no later than September 13, 2024 in the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership Development, ASC 212.

Virtual Scavenger Hunt

Enter the Office of the Registrar’s Virtual Scavenger Hunt contest to win a prize!

Students who answer all questions correctly will be entered into a random drawing to win one of the three prizes:

  • 1st Prize: Priority registration for Spring 2025 only!
  • 2nd Prize: SCSU swag!! Sweatshirt from bookstore.
  • 3rd Prize: SCSU swag!! T-shirt from bookstore.

All submissions are due Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 10 a.m.
