    Location: Academic Quad, departing from the Tour Tent near Buley Library.
    Join a student ambassador for a walking tour of our ever-changing and beautiful campus, departing from the Tour Tent every 30 minutes, starting at 10:00 am.

    First-Year students should visit Chase, Farnham, Hickerson, Neff and/or Wilkinson Halls.
    Transfer Students visit Schwartz Hall.

    Adjacent to Jennings Hall, the building enhances STEM curricula and research as well as the university's capacity to educate more students in the disciplines of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The building features:

    • Connecticut’s only Center for Nanotechnology
    •  Werth Center for Coastal and Marine Studies

    The School of Business building stands tall as a four-story, 60,000-square-foot testament to our commitment to growth and collaboration. Inside, you'll discover a 1,500-square-foot community room, a vibrant hub for up to 100 individuals. Enriching student engagement and community interaction, two inviting exterior plazas come alive with vibrant events. Our exterior stock market ticker offers a unique glimpse into global markets. The School of Business Building is the first building constructed by the state of Connecticut that will be Net Zero Energy (NZE) in terms of its carbon footprint.

    The nursing major at Southern is one of the top selected majors on campus, and we’re proud of our school’s growth and accomplishments. We continue to develop new programs, engaging teaching and learning strategies and innovative ideas.
