Communication Disorders

As we graduate, I just want to say how grateful I am for the memories we’ve shared from long study sessions to campus events and everything in between. I’ll especially miss the little things, like our favorite study spots and the sense of community we built along the way. To everyone moving on to the next chapter, whether it’s work, grad school, or something else, keep going and trust your path. I’m excited to begin my master’s program and continue my journey toward becoming a speech-language pathologist, and I hope you all chase your goals just as fearlessly. Wishing you all success, happiness, and growth in whatever comes next. We did it! 🎓

Favorite Time at SCSU

My neurobiology class and the on campus observations in the speech clinic!

What are you going to miss the most, and what are you looking forward to the most?

I’ll definitely miss my favorite study spots on campus and the events hosted by ProCon, but I’m excited to begin my master’s program and continue my journey toward becoming a Speech Therapist

Advice to Incoming Students

Don’t feel discouraged if you don’t find your group right away, you will. Southern has a diverse and welcoming campus, so there’s a place for everyone. I highly recommend getting involved in clubs to meet new people and find your community.
