As graduation gets closer, I just want to remind everyone that success does not have an expiration date or a timeline. Some of us finished quickly, some of us took the longer road balancing work, life, responsibilities, and obstacles people never saw. No matter how long it took, we never gave up, and that is something to be proud of.
It took me 10 years to earn my BA while working full time and taking only one or two classes at a time, but this moment proves that persistence matters more than speed. Keep going, even when the journey feels slow. One day you’ll look back and realize every step was worth it. Congratulations Class of 2026 — we made it.
What are you going to miss the most, and what are you looking forward to the most?
I'm going to miss going to class connecting with the professors and students.
Advice to Incoming Students
I wish I was more involved on campus. Take advantage of all the school has to offer. Get involved.
