Congratulations to my fellow 2026 Graduates, whether you are finishing this May or finished in December, You Did It! I hope for joy and prosperity in everything you do. I pray that we start or continue to follow and live like Jesus Christ and allow him to guide us through our new stage in life. Ecclesiastes 12:1-“ Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years approach when you will say, “I have no pleasure in them”. As we embark on our journeys, remember to ALWAYS choose Christ in everything you do because the lifestyle of the world will come and pass but Christ is FOREVER!

Favorite Time at SCSU

My favorite part at SCSU has been working and finding community at the Buley Library. I also enjoyed being a resident advisor during my senior year of college. Lastly, I want to thank God for the friends I have made at Southern.

What are you going to miss the most, and what are you looking forward to the most?

I’m going to miss the breakfast at Conn Hall (especially the french toast). I’m looking forward to seeing what the rest of my 20’s will look like.

Advice to Incoming Students

The advice I have for an incoming freshmen is that, It is okay to not always understand what you are doing or trying to do but continue to stay true to yourself that you will make it.
