I graduated in 1988, with my Bachelor’s in Library Science, and then received my Master’s of Library Science in 1991. I have a lot of different memories at Southern and some of my favorite being able to hear a variety of celebrities who came to perform or lecture at the Lyman Performing Arts Center. Some of those people included Phil Donahue and Larry Linville (from the MASH t.v. Series), and helping to work on the set of “Anything Goes,” during my freshman year. I also remember that our 1988 commencement speaker was Susan St. James of “Kate and Allie,” tv show fame. I did have some great teachers and met some good friends.
