Favorite Time at SCSU

Networking, meeting new people, and joining the SCSU Student Government Association, becoming a Student Government Representative At-Large, to fight for academic injustices for our student body here at SCSU.

What are you going to miss the most, and what are you looking forward to the most?

I’m going to miss the friends and relationships I made here at SCSU. Also joining a Greek life organization of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity, creating brotherhood relationships that will last for my life time. I also, didn’t realize how many funny, thoughtful, and talented friends I had, throughout my years here. The friend that I made here are truly great. I am also going to miss the support system that acknowledges hard work and determination and makes every effort to help you succeed. The students and faculty here are truly the best and cares for their students. Thank you all the faculty of the Political Science Department, you are truly the best. I recently have been accepted into a competitive pre-law plus program from the Law School Admissions Council, in which I am looking forward to going to Boston University School of Law for a month this summer to learn in law school structure classes, while also learning more about the law school admissions process. I also plan on getting my real estate license and plan on heading off to Law school.

Advice to Incoming Students

Get more involved. If you think you’re struggling, there are always resources on campus that can help you. If you feel like you're alone and don’t have no one to talk to, try joining clubs and organizations, talk to students in your dorm if you live on campus, make friends with students in your classes, or at your campus job if you work on campus. Lastly, keep yourself with confidence, it will take you far.
