My favorite time at Southern Connecticut State University was during those late night assignments sessions especially edtpa that somehow turned into heartfelt conversations, laughter, and unexpected friendships. That is when I realized it was more than academics. It was about supporting each other, and creating memories that would last far beyond the classroom.
What I am going to miss the most is the sense of community being surrounded by mentors and classmates who understand the journey because they’re walking it too. What I am looking forward to the most is the opportunity to take everything I’ve learned and apply it to the real world. I am excited to enroll in grad school, discover new passions, meet new people, and continue growing into the person I’m meant to be.
Take your time finding your rhythm there’s no perfect way to do it at Southern Connecticut State University. Get involved, ask questions, and don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone. The connections you make and experiences you have outside the classroom are just as important as the lectures and textbooks. Remember it is okay to struggle sometimes. What matters the most is that you keep showing up and asking for help when you need it. Celebrate your small wins , be kind to yourself, and don’t forget to enjoy the journey it goes by faster than you think.
