Favorite Time at SCSU

My favorite part of my time here at SCSU was meeting so many amazing people and making some amazing lifelong friends. I really put myself out there this year and made some great connections, and I could not be happier.

What are you going to miss the most, and what are you looking forward to the most?

The one thing I will miss the most about SCSU is walking on campus and seeing all the beautiful faces I have met during my college education. That includes students, professors, advisors, and Otus. The one thing I look forward to the most is seeing all the opportunities the world has to offer in my moving forward from SCSU.

Advice to Incoming Students

The advice I would give to incoming students is enjoy college. Be yourself. Make connections. Work hard. Follow your dreams. Never give up. The world is yours!

My four years at SCSU have been so memorable, I remember having such mixed emotions coming in, so much excitement but so many things to be nervous about. I wouldn't change my experience here for anything and I can't believe how quickly it has come to an end. Congratulations to all who are graduating and good luck on all of your future endeavors.

What are you going to miss the most, and what are you looking forward to the most?

Something I am going to miss the most is spending time with the SCSU Women's Soccer team everyday and getting to build connections with the team. I am most looking forward to finding a job that I can put all of the things I am passionate about to use, and help others.

Advice to Incoming Students

Don't be afraid to start conversations with new people, you never know who you might meet and everyone is probably just as nervous as you are.

I am looking towards the future and taking the lessons I learned here with me. I am feeling sad about leaving all the amazing people I have met along the way. I am looking forward to this next adventure that I am going to embark on and continue to grow as an individual. Hard work and determination are keys to success. As a female Latina student, I am so proud to represent a determined, strong, intelligent, loving, and hard-working demographic.
