Sibling Night

Young family members of our residential AND commuter students get the opportunity to spend time on campus and experience a little bit of college life! We have lots of games and activities planned, and make sure they bring their sleeping bags if they are staying overnight! Contact the Office of Residence Life for questions on age restrictions for overnight: (reslife@southernct.edu). Register By September 30th.

Stop by to check in or register for Family Day if you haven’t already done so in advance. We encourage all families to register, whether or not you plan to purchase the Family Day Breakfast option. When registering, please select either: Family Day (free option), or Homecoming Family Brunch (paid option with fees) at one of the available times.
Family Day is complimentary; Brunch (adults): $12; Brunch (children 12 and under): $10

Homecoming Photos and Golf Cart Tours

Students Families
Visit Buley Library during Homecoming & Family Day to take professional photos that celebrate your Southern experience. While you’re there, hop on a golf cart tour of campus and take in all that’s new (and familiar) at Southern. For families, it’s a chance to see campus through your student’s eyes. For alumni, it’s the perfect moment to reminisce about your own days as an Owl. Photos will be posted on the Homecoming website later in the week for you to enjoy and share.
