It’s crazy that our time at Southern is coming to an end, but this is only the beginning of a new chapter in our lives. I wish everyone the best of luck in their future endeavors. We are Southern Strong!

Favorite Time at SCSU

I’m so thankful for transferring to SCSU because I was able to really find myself and explore things out of my comfort zone. I was able to meet my best friend and some other people that I’ve become really close to. Southern gave me many opportunities to be myself and try new things.

What are you going to miss the most, and what are you looking forward to the most?

I’m going to miss hanging out in the Library Quad on a nice Sunday day with my friends. I love forward to finally becoming a teacher and having a classroom of my very own. I’ve been waiting so long for this moment, the closer I get the more excited I am about it.

Advice to Incoming Students

Try everything and anything. The more you do, the more memories you’ll make and the more people you’ll meet.
