SPJ Finalist Award for Best Student Magazine in Fall 2018, Outstanding Journalism Graduate for the Class of 2020

It has truly been a pleasure getting to know a lot of my fellow graduates and being able to complete our college careers together. Although we can't walk across the stage together in May, we will be able to eventually, and it will be the most amazing moment.

Favorite Time at SCSU

My favorite part of my time at Southern was living on campus. I've enjoyed the living experience so much. I wish I could've stayed there a few more months before I graduated. I enjoyed my roommates a lot, and I hope I can see them again soon.

What are you going to miss the most, and what are you looking forward to the most?

I'm going to miss being in the newsroom a lot, I've enjoyed my experiences there so much. I'm going to miss seeing all of the wonderful friends I've made. Although my time here is ending, I look forward to hopefully finding a job and being even more independent in my life.

Advice to Incoming Students

Absolutely cherish everything you do here, it will be over before you know it.
