2018-2020 Order of Omega, 2018 Advocate Award

As a transfer student, I've found such a home within Southern. I want to thank all of the friends and now family I have gained for their unconditional support and love for the past two years. I hope the impact I've made on campus carries on for decades. Legend out!

Favorite Time at SCSU

Joining Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated Psi Omicron Chapter, working at the Multicultural Center, being in Student Government, taking classes in my major even though it was difficult, hanging out in the Stu... everyday I came to campus I had a new favorite memory.

What are you going to miss the most, and what are you looking forward to the most?

I'm going to miss sitting in the multicultural center hanging out and doing homework with my friends. I am also going to miss hanging out on the patio when it's nice outside. I'm definitely looking forward to watching my friends grow and succeed at Southern, and hopefully continue my education at Southern as well.

Advice to Incoming Students

Be yourself, get engaged, and NEVER think that asking for help is a weakness. There are many people who want to see you succeed even if you think you can't!
