Yearbook

The Southern community is extremely warm and welcoming. Every turn I made, I saw a friend, fellow classmate, or faculty member. From the longest conversations, to meetings I have had, turned into incredible memories that I will always take with me.

I am going to miss library sit-ins, hugs from my friends on the academic quad, and all of the academic pieces (readings, papers, and projects) that gave me the education I have today. I am most looking forward to all of the incredible opportunities I have ahead of me because of all the Southern has done!

To incoming students, savor every moment. Every long paper you don’t want to do, every long article you don’t want to read, a long walk from your dorm to Davis, take it all it. It will all be worth it and before you know it, it will be a memory that you will always cherish. Cherish the friendships that come and go, everyone comes into your life for a reason, a lesson learned. Be safe, have fun, and laugh a lot!
