Communication Disorders

I used to think college was the natural next step after high school. After these past four years I have realized that it is more than a given, it take dedication to education and ambition to see it through. We have shown both of these and resilience as we are finishing it during a global pandemic.

Favorite Time at SCSU

All of my favorite moments were created in the different organizations I joined where I met my people that helped Southern really feel like home.

What are you going to miss the most, and what are you looking forward to the most?

I am most looking forward to sharing how much I loved my Southern experience!

Advice to Incoming Students

Take advantage of every opportunity presented to you! The more involved you are on campus and in your major program, the more you will not only enjoy your time at Southern, but you will really be making the most of it! It’s intimidating to put yourself out there, but it is worth it and then some more!
