You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. Seek the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, rather trust the Lord to guide you out there in the real world and in life. May everything you do, wherever your career path takes you, do everything in a spirit of excellence unto God. May the Lord bless all the 2020 graduates and may His purpose for your life be fulfilled.

Favorite Time at SCSU

My favorite part of SCSU was definitely SCSU TV. From the first club meeting, I felt instantly at home. It was always my go-to place whenever I wanted to hang out or just go somewhere to do work. I've made great friends there and in the Film & TV department. If not the TV Station then the DPF. It was always a good time talking for hours about films and TV shows with the students and professors.

What are you going to miss the most, and what are you looking forward to the most?

I'm going to miss talking about movies and hanging out with friends from SCSU TV and the DPF. I'm going to miss creating content and filming with those same friends. I'll miss those late nights editing in the edit suites and shooting films. The late night editing sessions in the TV Office and doing movie podcasts with friends. I'm looking forward to staying connected with the friends I've made and seeing where the future takes them. I'm really looking forward to working in production, hopefully in ESPN.

Advice to Incoming Students

Get involved as much as you can in clubs and organizations. Use all the resources you have at your disposal. If you're a film major, definitely get involved as much as you can in SCSU TV and learn as much as you can.
