My favorite part of being at Southern is the support of the outstanding professors who are super supportive always want to see you win.
What I will miss the most is walking around campus and my professors.
All our dreams can come true…if we have the courage to pursue them.
My favorite part was meeting and getting to know new people!
I will miss seeing friends and being in service to the university through my role as the Psychology Club President.
Life begins at the end of your comfort zone!! Take risks in college and find the people, places, and activities that ignite passion in you.
Living on campus, creating lifelong memories with friends, and whenever I could get my hands on free food.
I think the thing that I will miss the most will be all the good laughs I've had these past four years. I am most looking forward to whatever life has in store for me next.
"Dreams without goals are just dreams and ultimately fuel disappointment. On the road to achieving your dreams you must apply discipline but more importantly consistency because without commitment you'll never start, but without consistency you'll never finish." - Denzel Washington
Getting to know the campus
I’m going to miss the study rooms in the library
Make as much friends as you are comfortable with, they help you get through the years of undergrad and beyond.
Learning from experienced Public Health Professionals.
The opportunity to interact with other students and professors.
Regardless how difficult it may get, never give up.
My favorite part of my time at SCSU was meeting my friends and being a part of Alpha Sigma Alpha. I know I have friends that will last me a lifetime as well as memories I’ll cherish forever.
I’m going to miss living with my friends the most. College allowed me to have so much freedom and grow as a person doing so many things on my own. However I am looking forward to starting my journey as a Pediatric ICU nurse at Yale and helping children!
Get involved!! Southern offers so many different organizations and clubs you will find something that is meant for you. You get out what you put into your college experience and take advantage of that!
