Joining the brotherhood of TKE, has been one of the favorite things I have done within my college career. Meeting my brothers has been something that has changed my life and how I look at myself.

Honestly, just seeing everyone that I have grown close with these past years. It going to be a difficult challenge getting used to this new schedule of my life moving forward.

To my fellow graduates, We didn’t just earn degrees we survived, we healed, & we grew. Behind every tassel is a story of resilience. Mine is filled with prayers whispered through pain, dreams built on faith, and strength I knew I had. To those who felt unseen but kept showing up this moment is for us. To those who doubted if they'd make it look at us now. And to the ones who carried both books and burdens you are extraordinary. This chapter may be closing, but our journey is far from over. Keep your head high, your intentions pure, and your heart aligned with purpose. We are the Class of 2025 and we are unstoppable. With love and light, Kylie Chisholm.

Always learning within my classes, spending time with my genuine friends, and always praying throughout my days whether the days were good or bad.

What are you going to miss the most, and what are you looking forward to the most?

I’ll miss being young and experiencing life in this unique chapter, growing, learning, and making memories in college that shaped to who I am today, while also looking forward to becoming the woman I’m meant to be stronger, wiser, and walking in purpose for the rest of my life.

Advice to Incoming Students

Protect your peace, trust your path, and don’t shrink yourself to fit into spaces that weren’t built for you. Stay close on faith, ask for help when you need it, and always remember—you are enough, even on your hardest days.

I have enjoyed every moment of my time at Southern. Classmates have become lifelong friends, and I would not have it any other way. Congratulations to all of the class of 2025, and may the best be in store for us in our future! Go OWLS!

Creating memories with my friends both inside and outside of the classroom! I have friendships that are international now all because of Southern, and that started sitting next to one another in class.

What are you going to miss the most, and what are you looking forward to the most?

I am going to miss the people that I started my college career the most. Being an undergraduate student had its blessings, but I am looking forward to coming back as a graduate student in the fall!

Advice to Incoming Students

I would say to shoot for the stars. Take every opportunity, ask for new ones, push your boundaries because no one is going to do it for you. This is the time to start the path of your success, so do the things you thought you would never do because it may just turn out to be the thing that rewards you in the future.
