To the class of 2025. As we stand on the threshold of a new chapter, I want to take a moment to celebrate everything we’ve achieved together. Through challenges and triumphs, late nights and early mornings, we’ve grown not only in knowledge but in character, friendship, and resilience. This moment isn’t about crossing the stage, it’s about stepping into our futures with purpose, courage, and hope.We have proven that class of 2025 are capable of greatness, and the world is waiting for the impact we’re destined to make. Let us carry the lessons we’ve learned at Southern Connecticut State University.Whether our paths lead us near or far just remember we are forever connected by the journey we’ve taken together. Congratulations, class of 2025, the best is yet to come.

Favorite Time at SCSU

My favorite time at Southern Connecticut State University was during those late night assignments sessions especially edtpa that somehow turned into heartfelt conversations, laughter, and unexpected friendships. That is when I realized it was more than academics. It was about supporting each other, and creating memories that would last far beyond the classroom.

What are you going to miss the most, and what are you looking forward to the most?

What I am going to miss the most is the sense of community being surrounded by mentors and classmates who understand the journey because they’re walking it too. What I am looking forward to the most is the opportunity to take everything I’ve learned and apply it to the real world. I am excited to enroll in grad school, discover new passions, meet new people, and continue growing into the person I’m meant to be.

Advice to Incoming Students

Take your time finding your rhythm there’s no perfect way to do it at Southern Connecticut State University. Get involved, ask questions, and don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone. The connections you make and experiences you have outside the classroom are just as important as the lectures and textbooks. Remember it is okay to struggle sometimes. What matters the most is that you keep showing up and asking for help when you need it. Celebrate your small wins , be kind to yourself, and don’t forget to enjoy the journey it goes by faster than you think.
