To my fellow graduates, CONGRATULATIONS! I am so proud of us all for persevering through our college years and getting to walk the stage on this exciting, beautiful, and successful day. I wish you all the best in your future life and career!

Favorite Time at SCSU

One of my favorite parts about my time here at SCSU was meeting my boyfriend, who I have been with since my second semester of freshman year! Thank you SCSU for bringing me my other half <3!

What are you going to miss the most, and what are you looking forward to the most?

I will miss sitting outside the bagel wagon while doing homework in the spring, and enjoying the weather and the community it brings out on campus. I will also miss the sunset walks back to my dorm or my car coming from class. I am mostly looking forward to grad school and beginning my future career, but I am also looking forward to being a first-generation graduate.

Advice to Incoming Students

If there was any piece of advice I wish I was given coming into college, it would be to prioritize yourself and your academics. Do not procrastinate on your studies because it will add up and become extremely overwhelming. However, please remember to prioritize yourself, and your mental health! Find your balance between your academics, self-care, and social life. Have fun and be successful!
