This was a fantastic 3 years here at Southern. I don't know many of you in this grade but it is an honor to graduate with the 2021 crowd. Mikey Muzz and Stevo, lets do that hockey. Hoot Hoot

What we call the beginning is often the end. And to make an end is to make a beginning. The end is where we start from. - T.S. Eliot

What are you going to miss the most, and what are you looking forward to the most?

I’m going to miss the quiet environment of the Fireplace Lounge in Adanti; often, after a long day of classes and studying, I would take an hour to sit and read, watching over the pavilion as the sun set. While I’m sad my journey at Southern is coming to a close, I am very excited to start the next chapter!

Favorite Time at SCSU

My favorite part of my time at SCSU was getting to work in the math emporium. During my time as a tutor, I have met some incredible people that I am lucky enough to call my friends. Additionally, through this experience, I have been able to recognize that I enjoy helping students through allowing them the opportunity to reach clarity on concepts that they may have struggled with their entire academic careers.

What are you going to miss the most, and what are you looking forward to the most?

I am going to miss the time that I have been able to spend with my classmates on campus and the relationships that I have built with each and every one of them as a result. However, I am eager to continue to do so while I am working towards achieving my master’s degree and sixth-year certificate.

Advice to Incoming Students

Although being a college student may be challenging or overwhelming at times, it is essential that you do not let this hinder your ability to reach greatness. You are capable of success and the biggest hurdle in achieving that success is the level of confidence you have in yourself.
