Favorite Time at SCSU

Studying abroad in Granada, Spain and volunteering in Malaysia with the help of Southern.

What are you going to miss the most, and what are you looking forward to the most?

I will miss the late night conversations as my peers and I made our way through the education program. I am also thankful for Active Minds since my experiences with the organization helped overcome my mental health struggles.

Advice to Incoming Students

Be yourself, take risks, and leave your comfort zone. Amazing memories lie ahead; stay focused on living them.

Magna Cum Laude

Graduating college is a huge accomplishment that we all should be proud of. The long hours and nights were all worth it!

Favorite Time at SCSU

My time as a student leader was the highlight of my time at SCSU. I was able to meet life changing people and make invaluable memories. Any success going forward has to be somewhat attributed to my experience as an orientation ambassador and peer mentor!

What are you going to miss the most, and what are you looking forward to the most?

I am going to miss the environment. This school is like no other. Something as simple as a nice day on the academic quad in front of the library sticks in my memory.

Advice to Incoming Students

Take advantage of the opportunities! Success is part talent, part hard work, and a lot of fortunate opportunities! SCSU has opportunities, just go and get them! Good luck!
