" 'Cause once in a while, you get shown in the light Of the strangest of places if you look at it right " - Sublime, 'Scarlet Begonias'

Favorite Time at SCSU

The classes and Professors/Doctors; especially the Behavior Evolution and Social Traits (BEST) Lab!

What are you going to miss the most, and what are you looking forward to the most?

I won't be missing SCSU, as I'm coming right back in the Fall for SCSU's Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) program!

Advice to Incoming Students

Any incoming student to SCSU has made the best decision of their life, as SCSU is the best University to attend. The only advice I have to give is that college is what you make of it; you don't need the perfect plan, you just need to learn you. It isn't just about the content and material; the morew you figure out yourself, the more everything else gets easier. "Half-done early" assignments beat " 'perfect' last minute" assignments; procrastination compounds stress way faster than you expect. Lastly, one of the most underrated "cheat codes" to college is to actually attend your professors/doctors office hours; it could open doors for improving your understanding, reccommendations, research opportunities, and so much more.

What are you going to miss the most, and what are you looking forward to the most?

The first days of the semester, but I am looking forward to growing as an adult.

Advice to Incoming Students

Staying resilient, there may be times during a semester/course/life where things may be difficult and not going to your original plan, but it is important to continue in what you believe in and look forward to the result of your work.
