To every student reading this; never let temporary setbacks convince you that you are incapable of achieving great things. There were moments I doubted myself, struggled, and questioned my path, but I kept going; and so can you! Give yourself grace, trust your journey, and remember that growth often happens in the moments that challenge you the most. You are more capable than you think. 🤍

Favorite Time at SCSU

My favorite moments at SCSU were being involved in MCC, UAP, and CSA. Building community, advocating for students, planning events, and creating meaningful connections on campus truly made SCSU feel like home. Those experiences helped shape my confidence, leadership, and purpose.

What are you going to miss the most, and what are you looking forward to the most?

I’m going to miss the people the most; the students, staff, mentors, and everyday conversations that made campus feel so welcoming and supportive. The sense of community and the relationships I built here are something I’ll always carry with me.

Advice to Incoming Students

I’m looking forward to stepping into my next chapter as a future Marriage and Family Therapist, continuing to grow personally and professionally, and creating a life that reflects everything I worked and prayed for. I’m excited for all that’s ahead. 🎓✨

Dear Fellow Graduates, As we step into the next chapter of our lives, let’s take a moment to celebrate how far we’ve come. Through challenges, late nights, and countless lessons, we’ve grown not only in knowledge but in strength and resilience. The world ahead is full of opportunities and unknowns, and I believe we are ready to face both with courage and determination. Let’s carry the memories we’ve made, the friendships we’ve built, and the lessons we’ve learned into every new adventure. Here’s to chasing our dreams, making a difference, and never forgetting where we started.

Favorite Time at SCSU

During my four years at SCSU, my favorite part about being a student here are the friendships that I have built along the way. I will be an owl forever! As a first-generation student, I hope to serve as a living testimony that anything is possible and that the sky is the limit!

Advice to Incoming Students

Make and maintain your connections! You never know where it will take you or the kind of people you meet. Be confident and be yourself, always.
