These four years absolutely flew by with only really having two “real” ones. We have such an amazing class and have all done such exciting things and will continue to do so after graduation. We might not be prepared to leave, but the world is ready for us to show up. After everything we have been through, we finally reached the end of an extremely long tunnel. Congratulations everyone!

Favorite Time at SCSU

My favorite part of my time at SCSU was joining my sorority Alpha Sigma Alpha and being opened up to new opportunities and some of my best friends. Another favorite part of my time here was creating relationships with every side of campus that I threw myself into. Between Residence Life, Greek life, the Education department, and even the theater department for a short while, I was always welcomed with open arms and met so many great people while forming some of my most important relationships. SCSU really gave me opportunities I didn’t know I was capable of.

What are you going to miss the most, and what are you looking forward to the most?

I am going to miss being able to live on my own time and seeing my friends whenever I want, but I am so excited to finally get my own place and start my time in the classroom! The transition from college student life to “real life” is going to be absolutely insane, but it’s a challenge I feel that I’ll be ready for.

Advice to Incoming Students

You have faced so many challenges already leading up to college, but I promise it is only up from here. You all are going to help change the world and Southern will be with you every step of the way!
