Favorite Time at SCSU

My favorite part of my time at SCSU would be hanging out with friends in the Student Center, and completing all of my work on time. Also, I enjoyed my Music Technology, Intro To Piano, and Food Culture classes the most here.

What are you going to miss the most, and what are you looking forward to the most?

The SEOP program, because that's where I first started out before actually attending Southern.

Advice to Incoming Students

Please make friends! You don't know who might want to be friends with you until you actually meet them in person. Also, make sure that you participate in the SEOP program. That's what helped me get my start at SCSU. Good luck in college!

What are you going to miss the most, and what are you looking forward to the most?

I am going to miss the welcoming environment that southern brings to campus. I am looking forward to follow my career in the educational field teaching in a bilingual elementary classroom and going for my masters.

Advice to Incoming Students

Its okay to be overwhelmed, stressed and feel like giving up. We’re all not perfect. The only thing that matters in the end are the actions that you take, chase your dreams and never give up no matter how impossible it may seem. Know you can do it.
