Success is failure turned inside out, the silver tint of the cloud of doubt, you never know how close you are , you may be near when it seems so far. So don’t give up , on your hardest hit, it’s when things seem worse that you must not quit. DONT QUIT

It’s been a very long wild ride and I’m glad we finally made it!!

Favorite Time at SCSU

I love Jules and Brody! But also I do enjoy how whenever there are major campus events, SCSU always shows up and has a good time! Food and activities are usually the best on those days! Best of all, I really loved the one time offer of self-defense training that was ran by a few officers of Southern’s police. The Mayor is hilarious!

What are you going to miss the most, and what are you looking forward to the most?

I’m really going to miss CASAS resources, they really have some of best resources when it comes to having an Academic Success Coach and Writing Tutors. I like how it’s multiple resource under the same umbrella that, which I didn’t really have in that way when I was in community college a few years back. I will use the tools they have taught me to use in all areas of my life. I look forward to look back at my achievements, and say “I’m so proud of myself that I got it done!”

Advice to Incoming Students

1. My favorite advice I tell myself: Always remember who you are and be truthful to yourself to be at peace! 2. An advice that is constantly looked over: Drink water!! Eat breakfast and get sleep! You can’t fully be present if you don’t take care of yourself! 3. An advice a mentor: when making decisions, treat your your mind, heart and gut like traffic lights. If all green, go for it! If not, take caution! 4. A former advisor & professor once told me: Always show up! Never stop showing up! This means in class, assignments and office hours!! It all matters!
