Favorite Time at SCSU

Becoming a brother of Tau Kappa Epsilon, TKE has given me so many opportunities to network and become a leader. TKE has also introduced so many people in my chapter that I will always consider family to me. Joining Men's Rugby, as a team we reached the NEWCRC Small College conference championship in my junior and senior years.

What are you going to miss the most, and what are you looking forward to the most?

I am going to miss finding all my friends at the student center and decompress from class. I am looking forward to not only see my 4 years of work to be paid off but see my great friends succeed in life.

Advice to Incoming Students

Join Greek life, clubs, club sports. Join any type of organization you can. Not only can it benefit you in your classes, but you meet people with the same ideals as you. Friendships and bonds are in my opinion the greatest part of going to college. When you find the right friends you will always see your life move forward.

I’m going to miss campus life and seeing all my friends everyday the most. I’m going to miss all the opportunities to learn something new that southern had to offer. I’m most looking forward to grad school!

Advice to Incoming Students

Being scared and uncomfortable is okay! If trying something new scares you that is a good thing! Don’t be afraid to go out and take of all the clubs, and leadership opportunities scsu has. Not everything is just delivered to you, you gotta go out and grab it!

I'm gonna miss singing Wagon Wheel at New West every Wednesday Night. Looking forward to taking my next step toward becoming a Certified Public Accountant and returning as an alumni during homecoming.

Advice to Incoming Students

Enjoy every moment. You won't be able to meet any extraordinary people when all you do is stay in your room and work on schoolwork. Join clubs and organizations on campus to help develop you into the person you strive to be.
