Thank you to Southern for being a new home to me. I loved being here and being a member of Delta Phi Epsilon at the alpha phi chapter.

Favorite Time at SCSU

Being in Delta Phi Epsilon, and getting my little Caroline. Making memories with my sisters.

What are you going to miss the most, and what are you looking forward to the most?

I am going to miss all my sisters and all the fun we had together. I am looking forward to being to help others.

Advice to Incoming Students

My advice is to get involved. Join clubs, rush, go to events. College is hard work as well, so stay at the library, book study rooms and look into services on campus to help you out. Such as VPAS, wellbeing, and casas!

My fellow graduates of Southern Connecticut State University, as we prepare to embark on the next chapter of our lives, let us pause to celebrate this significant milestone together. Throughout our time at SCSU, we have shared countless memories, overcome challenges, and forged lifelong friendships. As we bid farewell to our alma mater, let us carry the spirit of Owl pride with us wherever we go. Congratulations to each of you on this remarkable achievement. May our futures be filled with continued success, growth, and fulfillment. Here's to the graduating class of Southern Connecticut State University!

Favorite Time at SCSU

Meeting new friends and networking.

What are you going to miss the most, and what are you looking forward to the most?

I'll miss the routine of commuting to Southern Connecticut State University and the sense of academic belonging it provided. However, I'm eager to advance in my career and achieve goals I once thought were out of reach.

Advice to Incoming Students

To incoming students: Remember to stay focused on your goals, even when faced with challenges. Taking breaks is crucial, but always keep in mind that nothing worthwhile in life comes easily. Organization and time management are key to success in your academic journey. And don't forget to prioritize time for friends and family – they're an essential part of your support system.

Thank you for welcoming me to Southern right in the middle of a pandemic, and for helping me to grow into the strong, bold, and confident woman I’ve become. We’re gonna do amazing things, can’t wait to see you all out there!
