Each one of us have a different path but at the end of the road we are all here to celebrate together and as we embark on new journeys, let us carry the courage and compassion we've nurtured here to illuminate every path we tread. Together, we've grown; forever, we'll inspire.

I am so thankful to have built close friendships and long lasting memories! Together, we made it through the pandemic, tough times through quarantine, and many struggles and successes. Congrats to the class of 2024! We did it! Be proud of yourselves :)

Favorite Time at SCSU

My favorite part of my time at SCSU was getting to join Club Volleyball; I have built so many wonderful friendships and I have created so many memories that I will never forget. As an athlete, I am happy with the outcomes in the areas I have improved in! I also enjoyed attending on campus events and activities with other owls and getting to be part of the community more!

I will miss receiving goodies from on campus events and activities as well as connecting with friends! I will also miss the wonderful support and connections from peers, friends, staff, professors! I look forward to closing this chapter as I open the next chapter in my life!

Make friends! I love SCSU because it is so diverse, don't ever think that you don't fit in or can't make friends! We're all one big family! Attend as many campus events and activities to help you gain better insight about career opportunities and build strong connections! Live life to its fullest during these 4 years or however long it might take, they sure do fly by fast!

Something that worked for someone else, might not work for you, but listen and learn as you go. Go to class and turn in things on time.

Favorite Time at SCSU

My 2 years in Jumpstart where I met some of the most compassionate, hard working people. No matter what I was going through, I always knew I'd feel better when I was with you guys and our sweet little preschoolers. Thank you Jumpstart for helping me find joy and confidence in myself as a teacher.

Advice to Incoming Students

Join at least one club or organization. Take it one day at a time. Be kind to yourself.

Never compare your journey to that of someone else’s. Embrace every moment because you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.

Advice to Incoming Students

When you think you’ve had enough push yourself harder. You’re becoming a new version of yourself.

As we go on to the next phase of our existence. Finally, we succeeded, and I couldn't be prouder. My mind goes back to the little girl who has boundless optimism for her future. A little girl who, throughout her life, had endless questions about what lay next. I can reassure that little girl that she has nothing to be afraid of by simply smiling at her. This is but the start of the wonderful things that lie ahead for us in the future. Our hard work paid off, and we earned our degree.

Favorite Time at SCSU

SCSU honestly became my home. For the first time in my whole college career, I felt that I had somewhere I belonged. I was able to join clubs, build friendships, and really discover who I am as a person
